St. Scholastica Academy celebrated its Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Exercises on Saturday, May 11, 2024 on SSA 's campus. The Class of 2024 received their diplomas from Sheri H. Gillio, Head of School. The Class of 2024, with 78 graduates, received scholarship offers totaling $7.8 million, excluding TOPS awards, and were accepted to 60 different universities and colleges in 20 states, and the District of Columbia.

SSA is proud of our 3 Valedictorians this year: Faith Garraway, daughter of Anne and Timothy Garraway, will attend Mississippi State University, from which she received the Mississippi State University Freshman Academic Excellence Scholarship and the Mississippi State University Non-Resident Academic Excellence Scholarship. Faith graduated with Honors in the SSA Honors Program, was on the Alpha Honor Roll, and received SSA 's Blue & White Award. She was an active member of National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, National English Honor Society, National Latin Honor Society, National Social Studies Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, Student Ministry, ACT Over 30 Club, Key Club, Nature 's Minions, and Student Council. Elle Marinello, daughter of Lisa and Craig Marinello, will attend Georgetown University, from which she received the Georgetown University Scholarship. Elle graduated with Honors in the SSA Honors Program. She was on Alpha Honor Roll, District Rally State Qualifier in Civics,. Elle received the Academic Achievement in Athletics Bronze Medal and LHSAA Academic All- State Composite Recognition in Basketball. She was an active member of National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, National English Honor Society, National Latin Honor Society, National Social Studies Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, ACT Over 30 Club,Color Guard, Benedictine Players, Student Ministry, Nature 's Minions, Active Minds, Women in STEM, and a member of the SSA Varsity Basketball Team. Natalie Pellegrini, daughter of Lisa and Greg Pellegrini, will attend University of Rhode Island, from which she received the University of Rhode Island Presidential Scholarship. Natalie graduated with Honors in the SSA Honors Program, was on the Alpha Honor Roll, and received SSA 's 120+ Hours Service Award. She was an active member of National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, National English Honor Society, National English Honor Society, National Latin Honor Society, National Social Studies Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, ACT Over 30 Club, SSA Dance Club, Nature 's Minions, and Women in STEM.
